all i talk about is scrapbooking
and Scripts
and Scrap Etc
and how mad i am that i live here and not in Alabama.
oh i did through in a jab about how i am winning a free spot to the Scrap Etc event.
i was living it up with that post.
crazy me.

I hate to break it to you

but i am winning the free spot to the Scrap Etc event that Gretchen M. is giving away on her blog.
and when i win, i am going to splurge and order the February Scripts kit just for kickers.

bah humbug tomorrow is Monday.

(my favorite not-so-local store)
but thank goodness they take phone orders.

went craft shopping on a long lunch break.
just the thing to break up a dull day.

adhesive
patterned paper
buttons
ribbon
and only spent $12

called Scrap Etc to get the February Scripts kit when it is ready and to get the kit for the photo carousel class.
spent about $100 on that.

i just saw on Gretchen McElveen's blog that she may give away a free spot to the Scrap Etc. event in Atlanta.
i could do that.
then i would not have to dig through the couch cushions for cash.
that makes a lousy Monday a bit better.
oy.

Super bowl Sunday

pretty much this day is a bunch of hype for nothing.
1/2 the people who watch the game do not even really watch the game.
nor do they care about it.
which is i am sure the case with the 10 people coming over to watch it.
would it be rude to drag out my scrapbooking supplies in the middle of them?

no February preview for this month's Scripts kit yet.
i am waiting impatiently.
i might scrounge up some cash and try to get one of those kits for the 7gysies carousel classes the girls at Scrap Etc. are teaching.
or i could take a road trip.

wish i could take that trip today instead of watching that game.
but at least i am not working today.

nobody should have to work on a saturday.
nobody is here so why should i have to be here.

i wonder if Lucy from Scrap Etc. would mail me some of the new stuff.
wish i had a scrapbook store around here.
since this Hobby Lobby sucks.
i should just fork over the money and get the monthly kit club Scripts.
i am working on a saturday.
i deserve it.
i might have to start working sundays to afford it though.
